FB is attempting to childproof the world for the 20% of adults who can't reliably make responsible decisions. That's a big mistake. We continue to define deviancy down.

The FB warning for this thread restates the obvious, it could only really inform the 20% at this point. Dumbed down persuasion is especially lame in a country with a free press and no incentive NOT to be skeptical, i.e. an overt government oppression of free speech.

This is only FB. They'll always choose the path of least resistance / most revenue. But we should NOT get used to this fuckery.
